Harding–named by </div><div>Democratic parents for a Republican </div><div>President in an era when all Texas children </div><div>were taught to respect the Presidency, </div><div>regardless of party–Harding was accosted </div><div>by a physician’s son, who remarked bitterly, </div><div>“That’s the Democrat flag.
